What to think about:

• Get recommendations from people you trust.
• Location. Not necessarily the most important factor, but definitely a consideration.
• The first visit. What's are the facilities like at the surgery. Is it clean? What about the waiting room?
• Is it affiliated to an emergency service
• How many vets work there? Do they have time for you?
• Is the vet comfortable with your breed/pets condition?
• What are the fees for treatment?
• Is the examination room clean and tidy?
• Do they have a safe outdoor area for exercising canine in-patients?
